Echeveria 'Doris Taylor'

Commonly known as the Woolly Rose, this stunning Echeveria has fleshy spoon-shaped leaves with a furry or wooly texture that are an emerald green colour with red tips and margins. They are hardy and drought-tolerant, requiring well-draining soil and plenty of sunlight. Their striking colour look best against a backdrop of light-coloured pebbles in gardens, or in a pot. They produce bright orange flowers or 10-15cm spikes during spring to autumn.

Height: Grows to about 5cm tall.

Light: Will produce maximum green with red margins colour in full sun.

Water: Water during the summer and spring, making sure it has good drainage. Reduce water in the winter as excess water can damage the plant.

Flowers: Produces bright yellow-orange flowers in the spring-autumn months.

Propagation: From stem cuttings or leaf cuttings during spring-autumn.

Care: Keep in either a pot, planter or garden bed, in good quality, well-draining soil. Very low-maintenance plant in suitable growing conditions.
