Crassulaceae are a family of succulent plants originating from the Northern Hemisphere and southern Africa. They prefer dry climates. Crassulaceae are easy to grow and maintain from cuttings or leaves in free-draining soil. Their compact habit makes them ideal as houseplants in small pots in sunny positions, or as a feature plant in the garden. Many have attractive and interesting patterns and marks on their leaves which are most apparent if the plant lives in full sunlight.
