Native to the Canary Islands, this succulent produces bright green leaves with brown markings in rosettes that grow to about 10cm in diameter. They produce maximum contrast colours in full sun, but will do well in partial shade also, with deep green foliage. They produce impressive yellow flowers atop a large flower spike in a cone shape. Holochrysums are perfect for water-wise gardens, though they do not tolerate frost well. They are hardy, and have beautiful foliage, making them a fantastic addition to gardens or collections.
