Native to South Africa, this compact succulent produces fleshy green leaves with crinkled margins and rough texture. Their compact habit makes them ideal as houseplants in small pots in sunny positions, or as a ground-cover plant in the garden.

Height: Grows to about 10cm tall.
Light: Full sun to partial shade
Water: Requires well-drained soil, and only moderate watering. The soil should be allowed to dry between watering, rather than kept perpetually damp.
Flowers: Produces a pink flower spike in spring.
Propagation: By removing and replanting offsets or leaves.
Care: Very low-maintenance plant in suitable growing conditions. Keep in well-draining soil, and protect from frosty conditions.
